November 18, 2004KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have been confirmed for "The Taste of Chaos" tour that will also feature THE USED and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. From early February through the middle of April, "The Taste of Chaos Tour" will take KILLSWITCH ENGAGE around North America playing venues ranging in size from 3,000- to 10,000-seat capacity. "KILLSWITCH ENGAGE are one of the few bands out there who can successfully cross both the Ozzfest and Warped Tour demographics," says Roadrunner Records Sr. Director of Touring & Artist Development Harlan Frey. " KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have already cemented themselves as one of the premier hard rock/metal acts in music today, and 'The Taste of Chaos' will provide them the perfect platform needed to do the same in the alternative/punk genre." Reached for comment while on the Jagermeister Music Tour with SLAYER and MASTODON, KILLSWITCH vocalist Howard Jones says, "We are stoked to be a part of the first annual 'The Taste of Chaos' tour. This is a chance for us to play to a bit of a different crowd and hopefully make some new fans along the way.”
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE are touring in support of their sophomore Roadrunner Records release, "The End of Heartache". The critically acclaimed album has sold over 200,000 copies since its release in May. Building a diehard fan base through incessant touring around the world, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's success continues to grow rapidly in scope largely due to the success of their latest single, "The End of Heartache". The track is catching fire at the rock format around the country, including heavy support from major stations like WAAF in Boston, WZZN in Chicago and KUPD in Phoenix. In addition the song was the featured single on the soundtrack to the #1 debuting film "Resident Evil: Apocalypse".
